Cody, a self-taught artist has developed a diverse artistic practice. Carving for over 12+ yeasrs, he began by carving dogs out of cedar. He has since expanded his repertoire to include intricate carvings of wolves, bears, mountain lions, and saber-toothed tigers. Nastacio now primarily works with a variety of stones, such as white and Picasso marble, honey calcite, snowflake obsidian, jasperite, and cuprite/Sonoran sunrise. His detailed inlay work, which incorporates elements like stripes, horns, snouts, ears, spots, and feet, creates visually captivating focal points for the viewer.
