Daniel, a self-taught carver, began carving in the mid 90's, with the strong support of his wife and her family. Chattin embraces the creative challenge of working with diverse materials, experimenting with glass, crystal, wood, silver, and gemstones. He uses power tools like a Dremel for initial shaping, but prefers to sand and finish his pieces by hand to achieve his desired level of detail and polish.
