Inspired by his cousins Reynold and Ronnie Lunasee, Fabian began carving gypsum and serpentine bears in 1985. His intuitive material selection is the first step in the carving process, followed by thoughtful consideration of the stone's shape and color composition. Fabian's respect for contemporary Zuni carvers fuels his creativity and instills integrity in his fetish carving.
