Son of Anderson Weahkee(d), grandson of Edna Leki(d), and great grandson of Teddy Weahkee(d). Anderson(d) & Lena Boone(d); his aunt taught Robert to carve. Robert is an exceptional 4th generation Zuni artist. Taught by his grandmother late Edna Leki(d), he has been carving since he was about 15 years old. His work is unique it is made with the spirit of each animal.
