Oh my goodness, let me tell you about this adorable little turtle that Daisy carved! Daisy really captured the essence of a turtle with its smooth rounded shell and cute little head and legs. And to top it all off, she added turquoise dots to give it a pop of color and personality. The contrast between the white alabaster and the turquoise is just so striking, making this little turtle truly stand out. 

Turtle (Edo:wa): Turtle has always been esteemed because it carries its home on its back and goes with the flow of the river, not against it. In some mythologies, the first North Americans envisioned the continent as a turtle because it was surrounded by water. Turtle reminds us to respect Mother Earth.
