Benina Kallestewa: Honey Calcite, Snake
Benina Kallestewa: Honey Calcite, Snake
Kall-es-tewa
The snake is elegantly coiled at its base, rising upward in a smooth spiral. Its body curves with a natural, fluid grace, evoking both the silent readiness of a serpent and the timeless symbolism of transformation and rebirth. The head is slightly tilted forward, lifted in alertness, with subtle facial shaping that conveys a calm, watchful intelligence. The most mesmerizing detail is its eyes, inlaid with blue lab opal. These shimmering stones flash with hues of electric blue, teal, and sea-glass green, creating a stunning contrast against the warm, golden tones of the calcite. The eyes give the snake a hypnotic, almost mystical presence—piercing yet serene, like it sees into hidden realms.
Snake (Chitdola): Snake sheds its skin. This is a powerful symbol of our need to discard old ways, patterns, and perspectives. Snake meaning is that of alchemy, i.e. that which is negative may be transformed into something positive.
