Pan-tee-ya

I mean, imagine a massive hunk of beautiful stone being transformed into the majestic form of a bison. It's like a work of art coming to life before your very eyes. Picasso marble, for those who aren't in the know, is this super cool type of metamorphic rock that has all these vibrant patterns and colors running through it. 

Bison (Si:wolo) is especially important to the Plains Indians. These magnificent animals were the basis of their lifeway before they were hunted to extinction by the white man. While not a traditional fetish subject for the Zunis, all animals have meaning and Bison reminds us of abundance and prayer.
