The meticulous craftsmanship reveals a body that glistens like sun-kissed sand, every contour echoing nature's design, while striking turquoise eyes gleam with an otherworldly intelligence that seems to pierce through time itself. Adorning its back are delicate dots of turquoise inlay, each one shimmering like distant stars scattered across a twilight sky, inviting admiration and evoking intrigue. The dramatic interplay of earthy tones intermingling with vibrant accents captures the essence of life itself—transitory yet eternal, whispering secrets of creation and transformation in a single gaze.
Frog (Da:k'yawiyo): Toad (Dakka) Frog (Dakkya) is a sign of water. Water is life. In Zuni Pueblo, frogs often appear on prayer bowls since many of the Zuni prayers and dances ask for water in the form of rain or snow. Cleansing is also a part of Frog’s meaning as well as emotional and physical healing.
