Che-ama

These natural lines in the stone mimic the soft fur and agile body of a real mouse, giving the carving a lifelike sense of movement and texture despite its polished smoothness. Its body is sleek and rounded, with gently arched haunches, a pointed snout, and finely shaped ears tucked attentively forward. The tail curls and rests on top of its back, subtly integrated into the flow of the stone’s natural grain. What brings the carving to life are its turquoise eyes—two tiny, vivid dots of blue that stand out brightly against the earth-toned marble. These eyes shimmer with intelligence and curiosity, suggesting a creature that is alert, cautious, and quietly aware of its surroundings.
