Lena Boone (d): Labradorite, Mt.Lion

Lena Boone (d): Labradorite, Mt.Lion

Boone

(1936-2024)

The stone’s natural play-of-color flashes with blues, greens, and subtle golds as light moves across its polished surface, giving the carving an almost mystical glow. Set into its face are piercing red eyes, their intense hue contrasting dramatically with the iridescent tones of the labradorite, adding a fierce, watchful presence. Resting along its side is a finely carved mother-of-pearl arrowhead, its iridescent surface catching light with soft flashes of white, pink, and gold, symbolizing protection and guidance. The combination of labradorite’s ethereal shimmer, the striking red eyes, and the luminous arrowhead creates a piece that feels both powerful and sacred, balancing strength with elegance.

Mountain lion (Hokdidasha): is at the top of the food chain and is regarded to be a great hunter and leader. Mountain lion’s presence is usually felt but not seen. Mountain Lion medicine is about setting good examples and boundaries.
