Pan-tee-ya

This beautiful wooden plaque features three wood burned bears, each displaying a distinct personality and powerful presence. One bear stands upright in a fierce, commanding stance, capturing a sense of strength and power. The second bear has a calm and peaceful expression, creating a gentle contrast to the other two. The third bear stands firmly on all four legs in a bold, intimidating stance, with a fierce expression that gives it a strong and powerful appearance.

Each bear is intricately wood burned with detailed lines, shading, and carefully defined features that bring out the texture of the fur and the character of each animal. Two paw prints are burned into the upper-left corner of the plaque, adding a unique finishing touch to the design. 

Bear (Anshe): Bear was the principal animal for the Pueblo People and they are the most prevalent subject of Zuni fetishes. Bear fetishes are used for healing, protection, strength, journeying, mothering, hunting and gathering. Bear‚ hibernation reminds us of the value of going within.
