The eagle is depicted with wings tucked at its sides, perched in a moment of stillness, but the suggestion of strength and motion is always present. Its body is carved with clean, bold lines—muscular, alert, and proud. The head is slightly turned, beak sharp and curved, giving the bird an air of vigilance and noble authority. Set into the head are turquoise eyes, vivid and arresting. The cool blue  stones contrast strikingly with the warm, earthy tones of the serpentine, giving the eagle a piercing, soulful gaze.
